Remote Support

To allow Sweetwater Hospital Association Information Systems to access your computer at home, you will need to download one of the following programs. The Information Systems staff person will advise you which program to use. Neither program will install anything on your PC, it will just run and allow the support person to access your pc.

iMPcRemote:
To download the iMPcRemote Support program, click the following graphic and the program will begin downloading:

After the program is downloaded, click the Run button at the bottom of your browser. If you don’t see a Run button, you may see View Download Folder. Click that and you should see the a program named imPcRemote.exe. Double click the program to run it. A window will appear that looks like this:

Tell the Information Systems support staff person the numbers that appear. From that point, the Information Systems support person will be able to control your mouse and keyboard to provide remote support on your pc. imPcRemote Admin.

 

TeamViewer Quick Support:
To download the TeamViewer Quick Support program, click this link: TeamViewerQS.  The download will begin. After the program is downloaded, click the Run button at the bottom of your browser.

Once you run the program, you will see a window like this:

Tell the IT support person “Your ID” and “Password” numbers. From that point, the Information Systems support person will be able to control your mouse and keyboard to provide remote support on your pc.

 



Webmail Support

NOTE: You must contact the IT department for your username and password to access Webmail.

There are 2 ways you can access your Sweetwater Hospital Email outside of the Hospital.

1. Use this website. Click the SHA logo or the Home button menu on the main front page. At the very bottom of the
main page, there is a link “Webmail Access”. Click that link to open the Webmail login page.

2. You can use a browser and enter the address to go directly to the Webmail login page. Open your web browser.
At the address bar at the top of the browser, enter the following address and click “Go” or hit Enter:

  • Enter your full email address in the Name field (IE: janeuser@sweetwaterhospital.org)
  • Enter your password in the Password field.
  • Click the Login button. This will take you to the Webmail page:

  • You can use the Webmail interface just like you would use Microsoft Outlook.
  • You can choose Inbox, Drafts, Sent or Trash by selecting the dropdown box at the top left or the left menu pane.
  • Help is available by clicking the blue Question Mark icon at the top of the Email window.

 

Medhost Remote Support

  • Medhost will only run on Internet Explorer. It will not work with Chrome or Firefox.
  • Connect to Sweetwater Hospital Association VPN. Medhost Viewer will not work unless you are connected to our VPN.
  • You will have to create a shortcut on your desktop to run the 32 bit version of Internet Explorer:
    • RIGHT click anywhere on your desktop. Choose New, then Shortcut.
      In the box “Type the location of the item”, type in the following (you can copy/paste this next line):
      “C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe” http://10.0.167.19/MEDHOST/WebView/Logon.aspx
      Click Next. Type Medhost Viewer in the box and click Finish.
      This will create the icon on the desktop called Medhost Viewer
  • Make sure that you are running this site in Compatibility Mode. To set this site to compatibility mode:
    • When Internet Explorer is open, hold the ALT key and hit T. This will bring up the Tools menu.
    • Choose Compatibility View Settings. When the window opens, the site URL will be at the top. Click the ADD button at the right to add it to the compatibility view list.
    • Click OK at the bottom of the window. The page will reload.
  • Click the Medhost Viewer icon on your desktop you created. Log in using your credentials.
