Sweetwater Hospital Association and its Board of Directors are proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Michele Tate, Obstetrician and Gynecologist, as a member of their Medical Staff.

Dr. Tate is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist, who graduated from Ohio University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio in 2003.  Dr. Tate received her undergraduate degree from Malone College, also in Ohio, with a Bachelor of Arts in biology and a minor in chemistry.

Dr. Tate moved to Tennessee with her husband, Dr. Marc Campbell, a Critical Care Trauma Surgeon at the University of Tennessee, and their five children.  Dr. Tate and her family enjoy attending Fellowship Church and volunteering at STAR Stables in Knoxville.

Sweetwater Hospital is excited to welcome its first female Obstetrician and Gynecologist!  Dr. Tate accepts walk-ins, same day appointments, is open every third Saturday, and is OPEN LATE ON WEDNESDAYS FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE!
