Welcome Dr. Dobbs and Dr. Devore, Board Certified Oncologists

Sweetwater Hospital Association and its Board of Directors are proud to announce the appointment of two Oncologists, Dr. Dobbs and Dr. Devore!

Dr. Dobbs received his medical degree from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. He then completed an internal medicine internship and a residency fellowship in hematology and oncology at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City. Dr. Dobbs is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. He is a member of American Society of Clinical Oncologists (ASCO). He has been a principal investigator for many clinical trials and research grants. He has also co-authored several publications. Dr. Dobbs has served on the board of directors for Department of Knox County Medical Associates, American Cancer Society, Baptist Hospital, and Provision Center for Proton Therapy.

Dr. Dobbs will be seeing patients at Sweetwater Hospital Association on every other Wednesday, the week opposite Dr. Devore, starting Wednesday March 21st, 2018.

Dr. Devore is originally from Westernport, Maryland. He received his medical degree from West Virginia in Morgantown. He completed an internship and a residency at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He trained in clinical and research fellowships at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Dr. DeVore is board certified in medical oncology and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). He has co-authored abstracts and publications and has spoken at conferences in the U.S. and abroad.

Dr. Devore will be seeing patients at Sweetwater Hospital Association on every other Thursday, the week opposite Dr. Devore, starting Wednesday March 29th, 2018.
